Issue



 Incremental backup sets are not reclaimed by Data Lifecycle Management (DLM) even after the expiry date.


Cause



This issue will come up if a previous Full backup has failed due to some reason. In this scenario the incremental backup sets after next successful Full backup gets associated with the previous failed Full backup set which is corrupt.


Solution



A hotfix is now available for this issue in the current version(s) of the product(s) mentioned in this article. Refer to the Hotfix link under Related Documents at the end of this article to obtain the hotfix needed to resolve the issue.
