This Hotfix is adds the Comprehensive Windows Patch Assessment Standard which also contains checks for updates released by Microsoft in February 2013. The supported XML version number is 2.0.0.3626.

Review the following notes before you install this Hotfix:

  • From February 2013 onwards, the existing standard, ‘Windows Patch Assessment Check Library’ is being deprecated. A new standard, ‘Comprehensive Windows Patch Assessment Standard’ is now added.
  • To install this Hotfix on Control Compliance Suite Reporting and Analytics, you must have an existing installation of Windows Patch Assessment Check Library. This Hotfix is only an upgrade and cannot be installed as a fresh installation on Control Compliance Suite Reporting and Analytics.
  • You must have the following services running before you install the Hotfix:
    • Symantec Application Server Service
    • Symantec Directory Support Service
    • Symantec Management Services Service
    • SymantecCCS
