In Workspace Virtual Composer (WVC) 6.1 SP7, when an exclude entry is created for a package, such as “D:”, it is changed to “[SYSTEMDRIVE]\D:” after a COMPILE action. This behavior is not seen when using the SWV Admin Tool, or by simply importing the package into WVC.
This issue will be fixed in a future release of WVC. For now, the recommended workaround is to use the “Layer Exclude Finder” tool, as it checks the “_SWV_LAYER_1\HU\USER_TEMPLATE\Software\Classes” location to determine what excludes are there, so it can then add them as excludes to the layer itself.
