Find Helpdesk User and Associated Assets
Here is an example Workflow that will provide a form that does the following:
- search for a Helpdesk user based on any character
- select an associated asset
- select a different asset to use within a ticket using a search based on any character
The need for this form came from the fact that you cannot search for a Helpdesk user based on any character. As well, there is no current way to visually select an associated asset to open a ticket against. And lastly, there is no way to effectively search for a different asset to open a ticket against. Simply use this project within your own project.
At the end of this project you will have the appropriate Helpdesk userid and and asset id to use to create a ticket.
Attached is the the project package. This package uses several user defined components (integration library) that I created:
- MyHDAssetType (packaged and attached)
- ListHDAssets (packaged and attached)
- ListAllComputers (packaged and attached)
- vUserSearch (packaged and attached)
Finally, the package that contains the forms is called HDUserSearch.package
