This component may be used to retrieve an associated location for an SMP Cost Center.

This component must connect to the SMP platform to retrieve cost center data. This is most easily accomplished by using a "Create SMP Credentials" component upstream of the "Get Location For Cost Center Component". The default input values (Global.NotificationServer, Global.NSUsesHTTPS, and Global.NSAuthenticationToken) will then be given the values configured in the Workflow Credentials Manager for the default NS connection.
The input value "cost Center" requires the data type listed in the "Input values" table above. This data can be obtained by using components upstream such as "Get Resource for SMP" (configured with the Resource Type of "CostCenter"). The results of this component will be properly structured to present as a valid datatype to the input of the "Get Location" component.
The "Method Can Return Null" value determines whether a "null" value is an acceptable output of this component.

Using a workflow process that includes the Get Location For Cost Center Component, an Asset Manager can ensure valid Location, Asset, and Cost Center associations exist in the SMP platform.
