Component definition

This component is used to retrieve the status of an asset from the SMP using a single Guid value input.

Definition of component input value or values

The input for this component is on the Configuration tab.  This value is the resource Guid of the asset you want to retrieve status for.

Connection information

The SMP connection information for this component is also configured on the General tab.  By default, this component populates these 3 fields with the global SMP connection values.  These default values must be initialized upstream with a "Create SMP Credentials" component if the global values are to be used.

Change Status for an Asset (Form)

A technician portal has been created to allow a tech to change the status on an asset in the SMP.  This component can be used to get the present status and allow the tech to review the current versus new status before submitting changes.
