Home, Monitors and Reports tabs blank issue with IE-7 and IE8 on a Windows Server 2008 R2 box
Updated: 22 Jul 2009
I've come across an additional new cause for the error "Home, Monitors and Reports tabs blank issue " with IE-7 and IE8 for a SEPM installed on Windows Server 2008 R2
To resolve the issue, you need to enable additional security options as a minimum requirement.
Go to the Tools > Internet Options > Advanced of IE and perform the following steps to resolve the issue
The following settings must be enabled when using Internet Explorer 7 / Internet Explorer 8:
- Under Miscellaneous: Submit non-encrypted form data
- Under Scripting: Active Scripting
- Under Scripting: Allow status bar updates via script
Please ensure that you restart the IIS Admin service after performing these changes.
- Click on Start > Run >
- Type "iisreset" without the quotes and click OK.
Login to the SEPM and you shall see that the Home, Monitor and Reports tabs show all the data properly.
