How to Configure Workflow Debugger to Provide an External Task Link

Question: When running a project in Workflow Designer is there a way to get the debugger to send a URL pointing to a server name rather than localhost in the response page link?

Answer:

  1. From the primary Workflow Designer interface > File > Edit Tool Preferences
  2. Select the Debugging > Debugging Deployment section
  3. Uncheck the box “Dynamically Determine Internal Web Server IP Address” (see illustration below)

  4. Enter the desired IP address in the new option “Internal Web Server IPAddress”
  5. Close all open Designer windows and re-open your project
