How to Share an Incident Template in ServiceDesk
Created: 14 Mar 2011 | 5 comments
The Advanced Incident Form in ServiceDesk will allow you to save an incident as a template, to reduce the time needed to log common incidents. In most cases, this will only save the template for the user who created it. To allow that template to be used by others, you can uncheck the checkbox called "User Only Template". Once this is done, anyone with permission to access the Advanced Incident form will be able to access the template for use.
Here is a screenshot detailing this:

Does anyone know how to secure the template so that it cannot be easily overwritten, except by an Administrator?
