PGP Desktop Manual Authorization Walkthrough
Below are the steps on how to manually authorize PGP licenses
Navigate to Help > License
Note that the internet connection is currently disabled. Continue to put in ' Authorized User' and ' Authorized Compan' y.
Then a key is installed. Simple copy/paste works great here.
Provided there is no internet connection, as is the case here, the Connection Assistant screen comes up. Select the 3rd option for entering a License Authorization
In this scenario, you may need to call Customer Care and request for the License Authorization Code or manual authorization code is available here: http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=HOWTO42066
The following screen shows where the code is placed. This way no live connection to the authorization server is necessary
