This component may be used to associate/assign a barcode value to an asset in the SMP platform. This component differs from the "Set Barcode For Asset Component" in that this component's asset input requires only the asset Id and not the entire asset complex data type container.
This component does not have any direct output values.
This component must connect to the SMP platform to commit the association. This is most easily accomplished by using a "Create SMP Credentials" component upstream of the "Set Barcode For Asset By Id Component". The default input values (Global.NotificationServer, Global.NSUsesHTTPS, and Global.NSAuthenticationToken) will then be given the values configured in the Workflow Credentials Manager for the default NS connection.
