After you upgrade the SQL Server 2000 into SQL Server 2008, you need to : 1. Run 'SQL Server Configuration Manager’ from Windows Start Menu. 2. Go to ‘SQL Server Network Configuration’ and open ‘Protocols’ for <Instance>. 3. Enable IP1 and IP2 (host IP and loopback IP): 4. Run the ‘SEPM Management Server Configuration Wizard’ from Windows Start Menu. 5. Select ‘Reconfigure the management server’, continue and finish.
