If you are running a version

If you are running a version of mac OSX that is older, 10.3.x and prior, you can continue using the Symantec AntiVirus for MAC 10.x as that is still support through January 2013.

Please see this article for clarification on which version of SAV will run on which version of the operating system.

"Compatibility between Symantec AntiVirus/Symantec Endpoint Protection and Macintosh OS X"

The system requirements are not entirely correct.  SEP for Mac is fully 64-bit compatible.  Please see this:

"Symantec Endpoint Protection for Macintosh Frequently Asked Questions (SEP for Mac FAQ)"

A note on abbreviation:  "MAC" is short for "media access control".  "Mac" is appropriate for abbreviating "Macintosh". smiley
