MIxed Versions of SEP clients

Hi,

The information is very true - mostly environmental
There is one more point that I would like to add to what Happytohelp said.

If there is a mixed environment like SEP clients reporting into a SEPM are MR2 MP2 (11.0.2020), MR3(11.0.3001), etc., you may face this issue intermitently or incorrect status.
Also in Monitors - logs you may find No Entries at times for Computer status logs.
So, it is highly recommended to upgrade SEPM and SEP clients to latest 11.0.4202 (MR4 MP2).
In such a scenario you would find .dat.err files getting created and disappearing in folder :

%ProgramFiles%\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\ Data\Inbox\AgentInfo\

Again as HappytoHelp mentioned there could be multiple reasons :)

Thanks.
