Does anyone know how to pass the return code of the Backup Exec job down to its post command script?  I basically need a way to have the post command script run one set of commands if the backup job success or another set of commands if the backup job fails. Thanks in advance.

My first impression is that I can't do a backup of a machine running the BE 12.5 agent from BE 2010, and I can't do a push install over the older agent.  Not cool.  I expect that I should be able to push a newer agent over the older one.

I have 3 domain controllers in 3 different offices, connected via WAN links.  The users share in the other 2 office replilcates to a share on my local server using dfs for backup purposes.  I have selected the local share (not the DFS Root directory) but none of the user folders or files are backed up to tape.  Any suggestions would be helpful.

I have sdlt2 tapes and some of them are not that old.  I have checked other posting regarding the status 84.  SCSI is working.

Does anyone know if it is possible to generate this page as a report and if so how? The page I am referring to is this: settings > global settings > agent configuration > show all agent status > click on the particular agent > then click on "show agent summary"

After using this for a few months now, I would like to see a button on the agent status page to re-poll all the data collectors at one time. This would make it really easy to poll all the data collectors at one time (after fixing problems or what ever reason you need) than going through each data collector and clicking the poll button. All, When launching the install,  everything is proceeding normally and when nearing  the end of the install this is the message I'm getting: Starting the NetBackup Notification Service. Starting the NetBackup database manager process (bpdbm). The NetBackup daemon process (bpdbm) was not started.
