First.  THANX a lot. I figured out to restore the File with bprestore. That does not solve why not to restore via SAP Tools. Will check your entries next. Just wanted to give you feedback that i i'm back in Game.    ;-)

thanks Markus for pointing me here.. not sure how to  utilize this though... we are using the Altiris CMS to manage SSR and the VBS would require some real tuning to get all 10 sites with 20 current backup policies working via vbs... with 0 user input...   still going to take a look.. thanks for posting up!

This issue is due to be addressed in forthcoming Backup Exec Service Pack, but a pre-release patch is available that has helped resolve this issue.
