When attempting a NDMP restore the job fails with an Authentication error after mounting the media.  The same network logon account "ndmp" or "root" used for the restore job is being used for the NDMP backup jobs which complete successfully.

When using the Backup Exec 2010 Hyper-V agent to perform a GRT backup to disk job targeted to a large disk (2TB or Greater) the job completes with an exception and GRT selections are not seen in the restore view.   This issue occurs when the backup to disk folder is located on an Advanced Format 4K Sector drive.  Typically these drives are

Problem

"Space used for file and folder storage" does not show proper value when backup destination is network share and "Save backup files to a unique subfolder" is enabled.

The BESR-MS console will not show all information when logged in as a Non-Domain Administrator user; 'Alerts and Failures' list shows only 0 count for all computers and the 'Backup Status' window does not show the graph, only a message 'Data not found'.

This has been observed on a French locale system.

Problem

When using 2 external USB drives as offsite copy destinations in Symantec System Recovery, the offsite copy does not always run automatically when the drives are attached following a successful backup.

This issue is reported with Virtual Machines running Linux Operating System and hosted on a NFS (Network File System) datastore. Backup job completes successfully but reports a byte count of the Provisioned storage of the Virtual Machine instead of the used space.
