When restoring from an Opt-Dupe backup set that contains DFSR data, the restore runs and restores the data, then hangs at the end of the job.  Eventually the job will finish, but may take several hours depending on the size of your DFSR set.

Incremental Backup of Exchange 2010 DAG fails Intermittantly with -1022 There is a disk IO Error using Backup Exec 2010 R3.

 

This issue has been address via hotfix.

Backup selection shows incomplete Exchange database name. For e.g. if the database name is 'Mailbox Database xxxxxxxxx' then backup selection only shows 'Mailbox Database'. So the job tries to connect to a database named 'Mailbox Database' and fails with the error

After a successful backup job some restore selections my not show file history or files to restore with a message "No Selections exist for this resource".  This may happen if the backup job was an append job and many appends to the same media or media family has taken place.  Additionally  the restore selection sets displays a negative Backup Set Number

Problem

On some Dell systems, it is not possible to boot from the English Symantec System Recovery Disk (SRD).

When booting off the English SRD, we get to the 'Windows is loading files' stage and then the machine restarts itself and gets stuck in a loop.
