Install or uninstall of a hotfix will cause a standalone backup server, that was a Managed Media Server (MMS) in the past, to become an MMS if the Central Administration Server (CAS) still exists in the environment.

Side effects of the MMS re-joining the CAS in this manner:

Following a missed backup, the tray icon status still shows as 'Backed Up' (green tick) instead of 'Attention Needed' (orange exclamation mark).

If the Symantec System Recovery 2011 user interface (UI) is opened, the tray icon status is correctly updated to 'Attention Needed'.

Hotfix 147674 has been released.  This hotfix resolves a number of issues for the Agent for VMware Virtual Infrastructure (AVVI).  Please make sure to read the post install notes for this hotfix.
