Backup-to-Disk folders from offline USB disks are incorrectly created on an online USB disk during service restart.

If the Backup Exec services are restarted with only one of the USB disks from a set of USB disks holding B2D devices that are used in rotation, then the B2D devices that were last active on the same drive letter that the currently online USB disk is using will be recreated on the online USB disk.

Backup Exec Remote agent service terminates in Bedshadow.DLL when Backing up Hyper-V virtual machines

When backing up Highly Available Hyper-V clustered Virtual Machines that resides on a CSV the Backup Exec Remote Agent Service (BEREMOTE.EXE) may terminate in bedsshadow.dll. The service will terminate on the Hyper-V cluster node hosting the Virtual Machine. The job will fail with error accessing the object list

Logical Drive in an Extended Partition missing from AVVI GRT Backup.

If an Agent for VMware Virtual Infrastructure (AVVI) file system Granular Recovery Technology (GRT) enabled backup of a Virtual Machine (VM) with an Extended Partition containing at least 3 Logical drives is performed, the backup job logs will not show that the 3rd Logical Drive was part of the backup of the virtual system.

Sharepoint: After restoring a deleted sub-site, Quick Launch and Top Link bar settings do not show as before.

If a Sharepoint Subsite, configured to have Top Link Bar and Quick Launch links inherited from the parent Site, is restored from a GRT backup, the job is successful and the site data will be restored, but the Top Link Bar and Quick Launch links will not be reinstated to the parent Site or the Subsite.

An associated application event log error will also be present on the backup server that may look like the example below.

Redirected restore of individual Exchange items fails with "Final error: 0xe00002fc - Cannot restore one or more mailboxes." when the mailbox alias does not match the display name.

This issue will not be addressed in Backup Exec 2010 R2. It is resolved by upgrading to Backup Exec 2010 R3.
