NetBackup only supports moving the image catalog ONLY in /usr/openv/netbackup/db/images Because the catalog backup only follows the symlink when backing up the /images So, we should not move all subdirs in /usr/openv/netbackup/db But just move /images and create the symlink. You might want to run the manufacturer's diagnostic utility against the tape drive to see whether there is any hardware error.  Make sure that you select the write test and that you have stopped all the BE services beforehand.

I am attempting the initial install of Symantec System Restore and got the same error...I am on a Windows NT Pro desktop.
