We just held our first User Group Summit with 75 customers representing 28 different User Groups. We also had 30 Symantec employees and partners in attendance from Education, Engineering, Marketing, Product Management, Sales, and Support. It was so great to see so many Advisory Board members and customers who I have worked with for many years! Thanks again to everyone who attended!

There were 13 sessions consisting of lectures and hands-on labs. To download the slides from these sessions, click on the links below. To watch the videos of these sessions, go here.

I concur with Joe.  It was a great Summit and a great environment to learn and share with other experienced users as well as hear from the early Adopters.  Thanks to Symatec, Damon and Andy for putting this all together.

Thanks to Andy, Damon and the other Symantec Crew for hosting the Summit. The ability to network with others was fantastic as well as the hands on labs.   Cant wait to dive into the CeM solution!

This was a great Summit!  Size, content, networking access were all just right.  Lots of relevant timely information and being able to talk with EAP participants was great.  I would do it again in a heart beat.  Thanks Andy.

I enjoyed the sessions, discussion and talking with some folks about their setup and configuration.

I appreciate all the work and effort to put this together.  I'll be taking this information back to my team to plan our 7.5 upgrade!

I'll jump in and add how great of a job the Symantec team did.  This has to be the most information I've ever seen covered in 3 days.  Anyone associated with a users group should look for someone that attended to give you a run down of all the info.  Anyone from the Kentucky/Louisville area feel free to email me if you want a copy of my notes or to schedule a time to discuss!

The timing of this summit could not have been better. Currently battling some internal struggles on whether to roll with DS 7.1 or just go to DS 7.5. There was some great networking and lots of great information to share. Going to share what I learned with my team this week. Thanks Andy for putting this whole thing together.

The summit was an incredble time to deep dive into NS 7.5, network with experienced peers as well as product managers.  It was also encouraging to hear reports from all of the early adopters.  This was definitely worth attending and I'm glad to have been able to share and learn from this event.

Thanks to Damon and Andy for setting this up and coordinating all of the sessions and events.  it was an awesome week.

Found out how little I really know about these products.

Was a great learning experience and good time. Met a lot of outstanding people who really know their stuff. Definitely worth attending, glad I spent the bucks, now if I can just remember some of it and put it to use. Thanks!

Excellent.  I've been wanting to set up CEM and these PDF's should make it so much easier.

We have not decided yet. We wanted to see how this one went first. It was quite successful so very likely we will do it again.

This year's was a special invitation only event for Advisory Board members from User Groups and early adopters of 7.5.

If you are interested in attending in the future, best bet is to volunteer to be in one of those Groups!

Thanks!

Still working on the videos! Hope to start posting them next week. We are adding chapters to the videos so it's easier to navigate through the content which is quite helpful when the sessions are quite long (1 to 2 hours). But, is a time consuming process to edit them this way.

any update on the videos?

Sorry it has taken so long! I'm actually going to post one of them tomorrow.

You can get a sneak preview of the "Lessons Learned from Early Adopters" session at this link:

Adding the chapters to make it easier to find content in a session is more time consuming than I anticipated...but hopefully will be worth it in the end.

checked out the sneak preview and it was very well made, I like how you superimposed the projection directly to the video and also the chapters really does make it much better to even use the video as reference.

Can't wait

The rest of the sessions will get added as quickly as possible and will just be added to this media player carousel across the top and so this same link will give you access to all the sessions.

Enjoy!
