AD Manager Plus: Creating Reports

Managing and controlling an Active Directory environment involves tiresome tasks to be handled daily. Trying to do them manually with the assist of scripts and command line tools result in chaos. AD Manager Plus offers a software solution for automating these daily chores. This tech tip will show users how to generate reports on domain users, on servers, on last log on time of users, and on modified users.

Follow the steps provided below to generate report on all users in domain:

  1. Click "AD Reports">"All Users" report under "User Reports".
  2. And generate the report.

Follow the steps provided below to generate report on server:

  1. Click "AD Reports">"All Computer" report under "Computer Reports".
  2. And generate the report.
  3. Click on "Add/remove column" and add "Operating System" column.
  4. Click on "Quick Search" and search for the server operating system.
Note: You can also generate "OS Based Report" for server report.

Follow the steps provided below to run a report on last logon time of users:

  1. Click on AD Reports>User Reports>Recently Logged On Users.
  2. Enter the Number of days and generate the report.
  3. Click "Add/Remove Columns", add the "Last Logon Time" attributes and save.

Follow the steps provided below to run a report on recently modified users:

  1. Click on "AD Reports" tab>User Reports>Recently Modified Users.
  2. Enter the number of days in the text box.
  3. Generate the report.
