SUMMARY:
The engineer hired for this position will be responsible for implementation and support of PGP Encryption product suite, including Whole Disk Encryption, in an enterprise environment with technical knowledge of enterprise software deployment and support methodologies. This position requires an excellent knowledge of the Symantec Altiris product suite including Software Deployment, Application Metering, and Patch Management. Candidates must also posess thorough understanding of the Windows OS meta structure, including Windows Login GINA. Tasks: -Manage PGP Universal encryption infrastructure supporting Whole Disk Encryption -Analyze and remediate security threats and assist with incident investigations -Upgrade existing systems with PGP Desktop Whole Disk Encryption, preserving any customizations that may be in place -Diagnose and resolve complex tier-3 technical support issues. -Perform PGP operational support tasks, such as system maintenance, backup configuration and performance tuning.

This Resource will be used to assist in the migration of Altiris Asset Management Suite 7 to 7.1

This resource will also help in configuring the environment to facilitate automation of many manual processes.

A major role will be training and knowledge transfer, to internal staff, of information as the migration and configurations are made.

They will be upgrading from Altiris 7.0 to 7.1 which is a completely different architecture.  They will be also rolling out laptop encryption with PGP. 

REQUIRED:
*5 + years developing Altiris Solutions for Helpdesk and Asset Management
*Provide examples of Altiris Ticketing solutions *In-depth knowledge of Notification Server policies for efficient device management
*In-depth knowledge of SQL creating custom reports for Helpdesk, Asset Management, and Application Metering Solutions using Altiris, SQL, and Microsoft Report Services.
*In-depth knowledge of Client Management Suite solutions (Software Delivery, Patch Management, Application Metering)
*Expertise in Helpdesk validation rules, routing rules, notification rules, and automation rules.
*In-depth knowledge of Altiris Connector and CMDS Solutions
*In-depth knowledge and experience with migrations for one version to another
*In-depth knowledge of Altiris versions 6.2, 6.5, and 7.0
