I recently used the Audacity
I recently used the Audacity software for a school project. I highly reccommend using this program for any beginners looking to create a top notch audio recording. I used one of the older versions, and it still worked flawlessly. Audacity makes it simple to edit clips, create recordings, and even edit the special effects, such as voice frequency, tone, and other essentials.

Im not sure if they have
Im not sure if they have perfected the beta version that recently came out, so I reccomend just using the older version. It has all the bugs worked out, and is simple to use. In addition, the newer version has a complicated button layout that puts tools in very inconveniet places. After I finished a project on the older version, I tried the newest version and it all seemed out of place to me. Anyways, use audacity, its a great program for audio editing and recording.
