Backup Exec Sevices Issue
Issue:
Unable to restart the backup exec services from Tools menu, click Backup Exec Services
Error/Scenario:
While restarting the service the services gets hang, unable to stop the services or start the services
Resolution:
If the backup exec services hangs while restarting from Tools menu, click Backup Exec Services then we need to manually stop the services and start the services
We can start or stop the services manually from services.msc (Windows Services) option.
If the service is in "Stopping" or "Starting" status then we need to kill the services from task manager
Taskmanager >> Processes >>End the services.
After killing the services we can manually start the services and we can open the backup exec.

Hello,
I am facing a same issue with RAWS service on Media Server.
But i cannot be able to stop this service from Services.msc and Task manager.
The service remains to be in stopping state i am not getting stop option from service properties from services.msc.
What might be the issue?
