Hi Elizabeth,

I would like to suggest for the next BE version:

- protection to InternetServers like MS-IIS websites (configuration/settings);

- protection to MySQL database servers;

- option to backup to a FTP server.

Thanks for the feedback!

As to your comment about the websites and FTP servers, as long as you back up the server with the system state, you will get these backed up. Is there something more specific about backing these up that you are having issues with??

I'm checking into your comment about MySQL, I know there have been several request for this, but I'm not sure where this stands right now.

Regards... Elizabeth

Probably not useability..... but...

Having just completed B2D2T jobs using policies for environments that are hosted and tapes changed by a third party, three things I would like to see in BE 2012

  1. report jobs can be used in policies
  2. unlock jobs can be used in policies
  3. Standard reports that you can actually customise and that will actually work (typically "recently written media" and "retrieve media from vault" )

Nothing flash I know, but it makes life easier for me (and others)

If this response answers your query, please mark it as a solution
