Cebit Hannover 2010 Day 1

Day 1 at Cebit was very busy. A lot of people visited the ForceFusion booth where VirtualStorm is a guest. We deployed over 1500 VM's today and we have one host running over 680 VM's. And still very impressive.
I had the pleasure of doing a demo with Matthias Freuhauf who works for Veeam and monitored our servers. The Video will be uploaded somewhere this week and you can see what he thinks about VirtualStorm and Symantec Workspace Virtualisation. We use SWV as a core technology in our VDI solution and we used gigabites of Virtualised applications.

Today Pano visited us and they were very impressed about VirtualStorm.

And we had a lot of people at the booth. That gave me the opportunity to do a lot of good work in making people familiair with VirtualStorm and why we choose SWV as core Virtualisation product.

Tomorrow day 2. I hope to get some more sleep this night because last night we worked untill 2 AM to get everything ready for the show and to get our machines running.
Tomorrow we will spindle up to 3000 VM's and we are also going to try to break the record and migrate 1000 VM's from Office 2003 to Office 2007 in less then 60 seconds.
