AT Command and SVS Layers
Updated: 29 Jul 2010 | 4 comments
"The AT command is also an important tip for techs working with SVS layers!
Since SVS layers carry the ACLs from the machine where the layer was created, sometimes you may find yourself with stuff in a layer that you can't edit or delete locally on the client you're sitting at... "
SVS Product Manager Scott Jones just posted this cool tip as a comment in the Application Packaging group. We thought it worthy to post a link to it here, as we know that SVS Master Gurus do find the AT command invaluable!

Invaluable AT command?
I'm beeing seen as a SVS guru, but i do not find the AT command Invaluable.
It cannot do everything, that is maybe why it is to be considered invaluable, but it is definetly not.
Test the command, and see what the value can and will be.
Scott, thanks for bringing this under everybody's attention.

Invaluable
Oddly enough, in English, "invaluable" actually means "very valuable," rather than "not valuable" (as the prefix "in-" normally suggests). See the dictionary.com listing.
English is a very confusing language... I'm just beginning to truly appreciate how confusing English is, now that I'm helping a five-yr-old learn to read it!
