Here's a list of the new stuff we've added to Connect this week*:
If a user gets carried away with their reply to a forum post and submits pages and pages of solutions to a problem, only the first paragraph will be emailed to subscribers.
We've just implemented some new math that should make the "popular" items that surface to the top of list pages more meaningful. We've added a "degrade" aspect to the formula so those items that were wildly popular a year ago will slowly fade from memory -- like real life.
You can now filter search results by those items that have been marked solved (or unsolved).
If you're reading blog posts, you can now filter them (using a dropdown in the right column) by blog author. This release sorts the author names, in the dropdown, into alphabetical order.
*In case you missed out on the fun, we also fixed the "Internet Explorer is slow as molassis" bug, the "You have updated your settings in Symantec Connect" bug, and the "I can't login because I can't accept the Terms and Conditions" bug.
