Are you interested in publishing how-to videos and screencasts on Symantec Connect? Video demos and screencasts are great ways to share information with the community, earn rewards points, and they're just plain fun to create!

Once you submit your video to the Symantec Connect team for publishing, we go through a series of encoding steps in order to publish your video using the streaming Symantec video player, and can run into encoding issues depending on the codec you used to produce your final file (see Wikipedia for a great explanation of codecs).  I created the following screencasts as suggestions for best practices when you're creating and exporting your video screencasts.

Creating ScreenFlow Screencasts (Mac only)

Telestream's ScreenFlow is Mac-based screencasting software.

Some of the following screencasts are geared toward Symantec employees, and have specific Symantec instructions; they are noted below.
