Daily Vision - Tuesday 13 November
Keynote Review and Preview
“Protection in a Converging World” was the leading theme in this morning's keynote. From Francis deSouza's opening keynote, focusing on the growing threat vectors, to Greg Day outlining the four stages of Cyber Intelligence, with the help of Time Warner's CISO, Tammy Moskites, the importance of leveraging an information-centric model was emphasized. We also saw the impactful conversation between Steve Morton and Anil Chakravarthy on the power of mobility without vulnerability, specifically around BYOD concepts, and control of private and business information as the fundamental priority in the management of mobile environments. The importance of creating solutions that reflect this convergence was further strengthened by Mike Madison from Deloitte, a first-time Platinum sponsor at Vision. Lastly, Simon Holland, from Intel, showed the fascinating new development in the Ultra Book, with protection from Symantec embedded in the device.
Tomorrow, the focus shifts to the Data Centre—with insights into how you can improve data availability, control data explosion and address new data governance challenges as your traditional data centre, private cloud and public cloud environments converge. Wednesday’s keynote will also feature an appearance by Symantec’s new President and CEO Steve Bennett.

We are offering support with transfers to and from the CCIB with 4 different bus routes from all official Vision hotels starting at 8am. Please check the detailed transport plan below or contact the Vision conference service desk for details.
