is that twitter account official from symantec?  i know my company also has a twitter account where we discuss Endpoint Management and Virtualization news from both Symantec and our company along with DLP.  At Manage Fusion we twittered from each keynote and will continue to do so at Symantec Vision.

I actually do not know if it is officially.
Someone of the employees should give the answer to that question..

This particular one is managed by a gentleman in our PR group - so rest assured you're seeing "official" tweets.  As many of you probably noticed, there is a "share this" on the right side of the user interface.  This will be deployed in a future phase - with so many "micro" communication methods available, we want to ensure when the "official" connect settings are activated, you get what you expect.  Tell us what you want!

It could be interesting tweets for the different areas like Antivirus , Endpoint Management & Virtualization, etc.   For example the Workspace Virtualization for sharing info in a short and fast way...

Hi folks, sorry for the late reply, but just looking this thread over and thought I'd let you know that I manage this Twitter feed. As you've probably seen we've got a variety of these set up for our products too - NetBackup, BackupExec, Brightmail, EnterpriseVault -- to name a few.

Riva11 you specifically said you think it would be interesting to see tweets for different areas like antivirus, endpoint management & virtualization, etc. Would you want separate Symantec twitter feeds talking about these areas or just leveraging the current accounts to provide that info?

I'd love to get your feedback on the @symantecnews account. Do you follow it, is it good content, do you like the interaction even though it may not be strictly news from Symantec?

Any channel partners out there? I'd be curious how interactive you might be on a channel specific feed if it were created?
