Disabling Package Events for Dell

Disable Send package events and Send status events to stop the agent from sending events to the server. Sending events can add significant overhead to your network.

Note: Disabling Send package events also disables the Software Update Package Status - Detail and Software Update Package Status - Summary reports that rely on package events for information.
  1. In the Altiris Console, click the Configuration tab.
  2. In the left pane, select Configuration > Solutions Settings > Software Management > Patch Management > Server Settings > Dell Settings.
  3. In the right pane, click the Programs tab.
  4. Under Agent events, ensure the Send package events and Send status events checkboxes are not selected.
