Easily Find MSI Files in c:\windows\installer

On occasion, it is necessary to uninstall an Altiris product using the installed MSI file used by Windows. These installed MSI files are stored in the <drive>:\<WINDIR>\Installer folder on the Notification Server.

This location is a hidden system folder. You can open Windows Explorer and enter "\windows\installer" in the address bar, assuming the default path, to go immediately to that directory. Otherwise, you may need to turn off hiding system files and folders under View > Folder Options > View tab in Windows Explorer.

Rather than open the properties of each file or hover over each file to view the title, simply right-click on the column header in the right-hand pane and select Title. The title column will appear showing the name of each product. Click the 'Title' column header to sort by Title.
