We have just released a new technote which explains the recommended method to support a new minor release of Domino (e.g. 7.0.x, 8.0.x, etc) as an Enterprise Vault 'target mail server for archiving only', prior to full certification of the new minor release by the Enterprise Vault certification team.

Archiving from an Exchange 2007 server which is running on Windows Server 2008 is now supported with Enterprise Vault 2007 SP3 or later. We know this has been a popular question from the field so hope this news is just what you wanted to hear.
NB. Running Enterprise Vault on Windows Server 2008 is not currently supported
