Free XML Editors

Many of the tips submitted to the Juice lately have suggested editing an XML file in some sort or fashion.
Editing an XML file can be done with notepad or wordpad or, if you want some additional functionality without a high price, check out: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/xmlnotepad.html
XML Notepad is a very easy and free solution that will make you an XML maven overnight.

MS's XMLPad...
Is also updated fairly routinely and its small footprint makes it a perfect companion to the regular Notepad.

Microsoft XML Notepad is in
Microsoft XML Notepad is in par comparable from others. The XML code analyis is really easy in XML Notepad.
I would opt this one for sure..

Notepad++
I've built Notepad++ into an SVS layer and use that for a lot of editing XML files. I love the highlighting and tabbing it does to make files readable.
