Get Your Piece of the Pie
Created: 04 Mar 2009 | Updated: 11 May 2009 | 7 comments
There have been a number of questions about what the little pieces of pie next to usernames mean. It is simply a quick, visual way for users to identify the lifetime contributions that different users have made to the site. Where possible, we have transferred over status from the Juice, STN and the Altiris Support Forums. (For example, STN users received 3 points for every post on the old site. Juice user points transferred straight across.) You can find out how you can earn points that contribute to your status here.

Can I turn my whole pie in for a whole enchilada?
How many points equal one piece of pie?
Yes, how many lifetime points are needed to complete the circle? 5000? Just curious.
Thanks.
I think 10,000

There was a recent winner of 25,000 votes that now has the full pie shown.
However, this individual has

The full pie is very deceptive in this case and so the 25,000 points that were awarded should not count for the pie.
ALL points for any person that are part of a special promotion should not count toward the pie status.
That's a good point, Bob. I'll look into whether we can separate rewards points from lifetime points.
Nothing came over from the Altiris Support forums.
I had over 30,000 postings in there and none of that was reflected in Connect :-(
