Group Polls
Updated: 12 Feb 2008
Here's a cool way to poll your membership and find out what's "really" on the minds of your users.
- Click on "Create content" (top section of the right navigation).
- Click "Binary Poll" on the Create Content page.
- Type your poll's question in the "Binary question" field.
- Select your User Group from the "User Audiences" list.
- If you want your poll to be public, tick the "Public" checkbox. Wait a minute. That doesn't work. (Here's a tip: to get access to the "Public" checkbox, tick one of the Product Audiences checkboxes, like Workflow. Then you are allowed to tick the "Public" checkbox ... go figure. Don't forget to untick the Workflow checkbox before you submit your poll.)
- Type in your Poll choices.
- Choose the Maximum choices. Real polls only allow users to pick one answer but if you must....
- Show individual votes if you like (or not).
And you're done!
