How do I add a custom asset status?

A:
Brett, Asset Control 6.0 introduced the ability to create a custom status, however you can't delete the default statuses that are installed out-of-box.

To add a custom status, go to Configuration -> Solution Settings -> Assets and Inventory -> Asset Control -> Asset Global Settings.

Need to update 6.5

Was looking at how to do this under the 6.5 version of Asset and this was one of the first, if not the first result from Altiris. Noticed 2 things....

One Asset Control needs to be updated to Asset Management

Two: The steps have change. In order to add a new status, you need to edit the CMDB. Naviagate to Configuration -> Solution Settings -> CMDB Solution -> CMDB Global Settings. Then add the needed status
