How do I Customize the Asset Picker Report?

Derek noted, "When I go to the different resources on the Resource tab, the resources are not displayed in the order that I would like. How do I sort the resources in a way that I would prefer, rather than using the default?"

A:
If you would like a customized display of your resources, you can choose any report you would like to modify the view for the different resource types. If there is not an out-of-box report that meets your needs, you can create a a custom report. Perform the following steps to change your default view.

1. If needed, create a custom report with the desired data returned in the desired order.
2. From the Resource tab, select the perfered Resource Type you would like to customize. For example: Resources -> Asset Types -> IT -> Computer
3. Click on the Picker Report Icon in the top right hand corner of the right pane.
4. Select the out-of-box or your custom report to use as the Picker Report.
