Most of us encountering error with regards to removing Symantec on our workstation. I only consolidate and convert it into one single file for Windows XP SP3 from the data for manuall uninstallation of symnatec client. All you have to do is to copy and paste it into notepad and save as remove.reg After that, simple double click the file then the entries in registry of Symantec will remove. It is most applicable to those who encounter errors on removing Symantec. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

As I was attempting to clean Symantec out of my registry I encountered this message:
"The specified file is not a binary script. You can only import binary registry files within the registry editor.
How can I do that?
