How Well Can You Predict Prominent Internet Security Trends?
Each year, as we start thinking about the next iteration of the Internet Security Threat Report, the PR team collaborates with the Security Response researchers about the security trends and incidents that will be prominent in the report. But we’re all on the front lines and are very familiar with what’s been happening on the threat landscape. So, we thought this year we’d expand the challenge to you through a Twitter contest and ask you: How well can you predict what Internet security trends you will see in the latest report?”
Here’s what you need to do:
1- Follow Symantec’s ThreatIntel Twitter account, and watch for us to ask what security trends you think will be mentioned in this year’s Internet Security Threat Report.
2- Be the first to @ reply with a security trend that you expect to see in this year’s report.
3- MAKE SURE YOU INCLUDE “@threatintel” and “#ISTR” in your tweet.
4- If you are the first to respond with the appropriate info, you’ll win a $100 prepaid Visa card.
5- If you are not the first to respond, you’ll still be entered in a random drawing for a $250 prepaid Visa card grand prize.
6- Watch for the Internet Security Threat Report XV to appear on April 20 and see how you did! If you want to read all the details, visit the contest home page or view the official rules.
Good luck!
