Video update: How to Create a Poll

I wanted to give you a heads up about a couple of new features our developers have been working on.

Quick Polls

The developers have added a new Polling feature that allows you to add a poll to any of your posts. Check the right column of this post and you'll see the poll I've added.

1. Adding a poll to your post is really quite easy but does require two steps:
2. Using the "Poll" option in the "Create" menu, you'll have to create a poll with a question and a few possible answers.
3. Then using the create or edit form of your (article, blog, discussion ...) submission, find the "Poll attachment" field and associate your poll with your post by typing the poll name into the Poll attachment field.

Notifications Clean up

Another thing they've attacked is the formatting of (text and HTML) notifications. Hopefully you've noticed that the text notifications are no longer a single, long, train wreck of sentences and hyperlinks.

The real advance, however, has been in the implemtation of HTML notification messages. Here's a sample of what the new messages look like:
