I noticed a discussion on here about having problems creating a WinPE boot disc for the Sony Vaio VPCZ1.
I solved this problem by downloading the HP drivers for the Intel 82577LC from here http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=4096175&prodNameId=4097219&swEnvOID=4055&swLang=13&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=ob-89788-1
On the GHOST boot wizard I added the Intel 82577LC driver gave it the friendly name of Intel 82577LC Vista 32 and pointed it to the Vista 32 driver that I extracted from the HP download folder %\%\SP50479\flat\VISTAx32
To make sure nothing else would cause a problem, I did not set up a logon or add any other files. I created the ISO image for the CD and booted the Vaio with CD.
When it had finished booting I typed NET USE \\server\folder at the command line and "hey presto" I connected to the server folder using the network driver from HP.
Hope this helps those guys on the other forum https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/intel-82577lc-and-sony-vpcz1 for the Intel driver from last year, I would have posted it there, but it's been closed as no one had posted to it in 6 months!
Cheers.
