Q:
If an OEM Intel® Centrino® Pro platform is docked, will Intel® AMT still work?

A:
Since Intel® AMT is a combination of supported chipset, NIC, memory, processor, management solution, etc - this is an interesting question. At first thought - if a non-Intel® AMT compliant NIC, then the present solution is broken.

Port replicators typically use a pass-through for the network interface. Basically - direct wire connection from port replicator RJ45 port to interface on Intel® Centrino® Pro system. Therefore - solution works.

BUT - what if port station with separate NIC and so forth. May be best to consult with the OEM to ensure Intel® AMT compliant.
