Intel® vPro™ Technology – Find IT, Configure IT, and Use IT

  • When: Wednesday, March 11: 10:30-11:30am
  • Abstract: Many environments may already have Intel® vPro™ technology systems deployed without full awareness of the IT client management or operations teams. The technology provides out-of-band management to the existing rich functionalities of the Altiris Client Management Suite. However, until the systems are found and configured, the Altiris console is unable to take advantage of the underlying functionality. This lab provides the foundational resources and hands-on exercises to find, configure, and start utilizing the Intel vPro technology which may already be in your environment.

Wanna attend Intels first session about money saving. This recession brought with it a record number of bank closings.  The number of banks flagged as being especially great risk for bank closings keeps rising, as over 400 banks are listed by the FDIC, or Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation as being troubled.  However, the rate of additions to that listing has slowed, but how long it will take for the banking system to recover is unknown.  If it will ever recover is also kind of up in the air at the moment.  It begs the question of whether all that money we spent on TARP programs were actually preventing any bank closings, or were just lining the pockets of some already guilty suits.
