Well, it is called SWV MultiTool now.

It seems that the people who asked the tool to beta test are not really beta testing.
The tool is in your possesion for an week now, if nobody uses it then I see if I can find some real beta testers.

Am very interested in Beta Testing this as we are now doing Windows7 Layers and have no Multi tool to do the various Functions that we were able to use in the past

Hi, I got an error, but find why: Must run "as admin" to make it works correctly
Else I got eg.: "can't find SWV admin" error message.

Hi Pascal,
I've had the same error the first time I launch the application, you have to launch it in the same environnement of SWV admin.
Exemple Launch SWV admin "as administrator" then launch the multitool "as admin" too.
Test it and let me know

Hi Frank,
I've just test your application now, and I have see a little bug in the "file extension excludes" options.
I've load an Adobe Acrobat reader 9.4 layer and I couldn't exclude any extensions. Is it normal? What are the entry that you verify to complete the list of extension? is it the registry or something else?

I can suspect it wouldn't find it, as Acrobat Reader is merely a reader not an editor.
Could you test it on other virtual applications who do have extension used for editing?
E.g. Open Office / Microsoft Office.

What is changed:
1. Check Admin rights, if not available the program will close.
2. Check if SWVAdmin exists, if not the buttons won't show.

As gsalerno reported the File Extension Excludes aren't working.
This is currently under investigation, I'll report back when the problem is resolved.

Hi Frank I've test it with AutocadLT and I haven't any extension files to exclude but going on the layer in HKLM\Classes you can see the extension files.
