There was certainly a lot of hype and discussion about what Windows 7 would provide to PC users and how it would enhance our lives. Well I think we heard something similar prior to Vista being released didn’t we?

Over the years hospitals have become increasingly more high-tech. Long gone are the days of the country doctor that could fit all of his equipment in one bag. Healthcare organizations are on the bleeding edge of technology, trying to offer their patients the best care possible.

In May of 2008, a fire ravaged a building on the campus of Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio. The building housed among other things, the University’s data center.

You know the old saying, “Everything’s bigger in Texas”? From everything I can gather that statement is true. Whether it’s 10-gallon hats, huge belt buckles, or pickup trucks, Texas is extra large. One other thing that is bigger in Texas are the colleges.

Let me just put this out there. I hate spam. On the scale of things I hate, spam might be in the top-three, trailing only the Los Angeles Lakers, a satellite service that shall remain nameless, and lettuce.

At long last the release of Altiris 7.0 was announced in this morning’s keynote. I’ve worked at Altiris/Symantec for almost four years and it seems like for most of my time Altiris 7.0 was “almost” done or that the release was right around the corner. Now it is a reality.
