How to Join DLP Customer Group on Symantec Connect

1.       Ensure you're logged into Symantec Connect

2.       Go to http://www.symantec.com/connect/groups/dlp-customer-group and  click the “Request Membership” button to request access to the DLP (Vontu) Customer Group: 

3.       A member of the Symantec DLP team will contact you shortly and may ask you to confirm certain details such as company name, products in use, office location ,etc. Once reviewed, you will be added to the program.

The Data Loss Prevention (Vontu) Customr Group is a great way to stay connected to other DLP Customers and interact with the prouduct team.  We are really starting to build out the content on Symantec Connect around DLP.  So if you are an existing customer and interested in learning more and and connecting with your peers, start by requesting membership to this group and the DLP team will review your request and get back to you.

We are Symanted Partner here in India. We have good installation base of Symantec Endpoint Protection and Symantec Backup Exec. We are pitching in DLP to Finance Service Provider and software developers, who are in our customer list.

I did not know there was such a group for that.

I work at a Symatec Partner, and I'm actually running two big implementations of the product at Insurances Companies.

I'll be appliying to become a member, I always try to read and find a solution before opening a case if an issue appears.

Hello from Guam.  DLP was installed in late 2011 here at work.  I have since transferred to the IS department and just started using DLP.  The problem is there is not much knowledge transfer and we are basically starting from scratch.  Is there any way I can get an assessment / health check from a new point of contact because the Senior sales engineer we were in contact with no longer works for symantec.  Thanks.
